A Change Is In Order

December 22, 2007

I’ve lost my sight because I’ve been afraid. Go read the posts from last winter and you’ll see what I mean. God give me grace to feel again and breathe. I may not write here for a while.

-Create with what you have. You are not God.
-It’s good to wait for the right time.
-DO NOT BE JEALOUS.
-Slow down, even when it seems you can’t.
-Remember to feel deeper than the surface. You often fall in love with the textures of things and find truth through the tactile experience.
-Be patient, find balance.
-Remember the men on the bus.
-Remember the sun on the water.
-Silence and solitude do not equal lonliness. How quickly you forget.
-Create for others.
-Sing more often.
-Throw away garbage; give away everything you don’t need.
-Resolve to DO; keep your word.
-NEVER be afraid; keep your heart wide open.
-Never be afraid.
-Never be afraid.
-Make sure the dishes are done before you write that song that’s been in your head.
-You are free.
-Play in the snow.
-Tell people you love that you love them.
-Tell everyone your story when the opportunity arises; ask to hear often.
-Listen more.
-Be fully present.
-DO THE DISHES.
-DON’T WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE, GO DO THE DISHES.
-Play music in the kitchen. Close your eyes and listen when you have to stick your hand in the junk in the drain.
-God is with you.
